Ji-Seon Kim is Professor of Solid State Physics and Director of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Plastic Electronic Materials and MRes in Soft Electronic Materials at Imperial College London (UK). She also holds a specially appointed Professorship at Tokyo Institute of Technology (Japan), and held a WCU Invited Professorship at KAIST (South Korea). Her research focuses on the basic science and technology of Soft Electronic Materials (Organic and Hybrids) for Energy, Display and Bio applications, as well as developing new Nanometrology for these materials. She has been a lead or co-investigator on a number of interdisciplinary research projects and has published over 250 papers with H-index of 69 and over 18,900 total citations. She has strong collaborative links to world leading national and international industrial organisations including Samsung Electronics (Korea), CSEM (Brazil), KP-Technology (UK) and Cambridge Display Technology/ Sumitomo Chemical Company (UK/Japan).
