Vision & Goal

   Premier Research Initiative for Quantum Matters (PRIQM) of ‘Ewha Frontier 10-10’ is established to strengthen research capability for fields that has high potential to lead and develop in the 4th industrial revolution era. There are 7 fields that the PRIQM will focus on; (1) Nano-optics and Quantum metamaterials, (2) New energy and resources, (3) Next generation semiconductors, (4) Quantum computer, (5) Nano-biophysics, (6) Condensed matter physics, (7) Gravitational waves and quantum gravity.

   The primary goal of PRIQM is to enhance research capability. We expect to achieve the goal through diversified research effort based on interdisciplinary and convergence education. We hope to take a big step forward in research capability that will result in  increased number and quality of research papers. PRIQM also aims to globalize the research network through inviting renowned scholars as distinguished professors in Ewha Womans University. Working in partner with the distinguished professors, collaborative research will be conducted, and students will have opportunities to visit global research institutes. In addition, we strive to educate graduate students to become outstanding independent female research professional that will lead the 4th industrial revolution era.
